INTRODUCTION Fibrecomm Network (M) Sdn Bhd ("Fibrecomm") was formed for the development of fibre optic telecommunication network utilizing TNB's electrical transmission lines and distribution infrastructure. Fibrecomm was initially owned as Celcom Advance Network Services Sdn Bhd and was incorporated on 21st May 1992. Subsequently, it changed its name to Fibre Communication Network (M) Sdn Bhd on 7th May 1996 and Fibrecomm Network (M) Sdn Bhd on 11th May 1999. Fibrecomm is a network carrier and our core business is in the provision of telecommunication network services. Our full suite of offerings is well positioned to address the critical needs of service providers - reliable network performance, short time-to-market, cost effective solution and excellent customer service. In line with the rapid technological advancement globally and regionally, Fibrecomm is well-equipped to stand apart from its competitors. To-date, our Peninsular-wide fibre optics backbone network spans over 98,000 fibre km, running on high speed capacity of 10 Gbps. With these in place, Fibrecomm is poised to assist the nation to become the premier regional telecommunication hub.
