Fibre Optic Cable | POP

Fibrecomm has installed approximately 98,000 fibre kilometers to form a unique transport and access network connecting Fibrecomm's numerous Point-of-Presence (POP) throughout Peninsular Malaysia. The network will enable service providers to deliver data, voice, as well as other multimedia services to their customers faster and cost effectively as our network is readily available and in operations at all of Fibrecomm's POPs.

The ring topology of Fibrecomm's backbone network results in a self-healing, redundant and robust network, ensuring superior levels of availability and service quality. The backbone network currently ring on STM-64 or 4032xE1 with potential capability of .80 channels of 10Gbps via Fibrecomm's Dense Wavelength Digital Multiplexing (DWDM) platform.
